Polar Bottle® Expands Charitable Contributions With New Discount Program

Boulder, CO ‘”  As part of an ongoing effort to expand its charitable contributions  and advocacy work, Polar Bottle has launched a new discount program that rewards customers with a 50% off coupon for donating to a charitable cause.

Every two weeks the company will highlight a new charity, non-profit or advocacy group on its website www.polarbottle.com. Customers can then make a donation of at least $5 through the Polar Bottle website or provide the company with a donation receipt to receive a coupon code for 50% off their next order on the Polar Bottle online store.

The first organization featured is local food bank Community Food Share, which Polar Bottle has volunteered with for the past several years.

The donation program follows several new philanthropic initiatives the Boulder-based company has taken on over the past year. Last spring, for example, Polar Bottle designed a line of custom bottles benefiting a range of local, national and international non-profits and advocacy groups. For every $14.99 bottle sold, Polar Bottle donates $5 to the corresponding charity. Today, the bottle line includes more than a dozen bottles supporting causes ranging from ocean preservation to cycling advocacy. By including the new donation program, where the benefiting organization is continuously shifting, the company hopes to contribute to an even bigger range of worthy causes.

The patented Polar Bottle water bottle features an insulating layer between two walls of plastic, so it keeps liquids cool twice as long as other water bottles. The Made in America bottle fits standard bike water bottle cages and features a convenient, removable carrying strap. All Polar Bottle products are, and always have been, BPA-free and Phthalate- free.
