Hi there, any hints on how you angled the saddle? Did you use a level? If so was it slightly nose down? Please let me know.

TD

Was there ever an answer on this ?

Alex

Sorry for the late response, guys. The natural shape of the saddle makes it difficult to actually measure the angle. However, I’m running it mostly flat. The shape turns the back up and the nose is turned downward much more than it appears in the above photos. The only place that allows a somewhat telling measurement of the angle is just behind the nose. This is set to about zero on mine.–Alex

Can the Chiane be used with a Trek Mdone side mount seat post.

Anonymous

I don’t think so, Joseph. This is directly from Specialized’s website: “NOTE: Oversized 7x9mm carbon rails are not compatible with seatposts equipped with side-load clamp mechanisms for 7mm round rails”

Alex

“Anonymous” above was me. Whoops. 🙂

Ray

Yes it can fit I have one on my madone. Trek sales an ear that is 9mm (Bontrager Ears Fof O/Size 7 X 9mm) works fine.

Hi Alex

regarding Measurement. You say behind the nose but how long in cm. from the tip of the nose?

Have a nice weekend

Would the Chicane be compatible with the Specialized S Works carbon stem?

The description makes me think no, but would like to be sure – thanks
