LONGMONT, Colo. – October 29, 2012 – Bergans of Norway today announced the company is a Major Partner of the 9th annual Banff Mountain Film Festival Radical Reels Tour, a traveling film festival of the best high-adrenaline films from the 2012 Banff Mountain Film Festival. Bergans is also sponsoring the Radical Reels People’s Choice Award during the 2012 Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival.

The Radical Reels Tour has been on the road since 2004. The tour’s films are chosen during the Banff Mountain Film Festival (Oct. 27 – Nov. 4, 2012) and the collection travels from February to May and September to October. Major Partnership provides various opportunities for the audience in product giveaways, onsite displays, and promotional tickets during each tour stop in Canada and the United States.
The Radical Reels program is made up of short, action-packed climbing, paddling, mountain biking, BASE jumping, skiing, snowboarding, and other adrenaline sport films. The Festival always try to keep an eye out for films that feature a fresh approach, a new sport, and a radically independent spirit.

Produced by The Banff Centre, the Radical Reels Tour is a yearlong, traveling action sports film festival consisting of short films chosen during the Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival.
