Get your tech wet. That‘s what DryCASE says. As much as I love rain in the summer to break up the heat, or a good spring rain to turn everything green, those same rains can really do a number on a cell phone. DryCASE has all sorts of products to hold Mother Nature at bay and keep your electronic gear protected from the elements. They were showing off their gear at ORSM.
DryCASE says the Waterproof Smartphone Case will keep a cell phone void of water even when submerged up to 100 feet deep. I‘m not sure I am waterproof at 100 feet deep, so I doubt I will ever test this claim. The Waterproof Smartphone Case (DC-13) is a clear plastic re-usable bag that encases the phone. A hand powered vacuum pump is used to suck all of the air out. A headphone jack in the bag is used to provide a port to attach a hands free headset or earbuds so you can take calls while the phone is in the DryCASE. A neoprene armband is provided to attach the case to your arm or a fixed object so you don‘t lose your gear. The flexible shape and size of the smartphone case (4.5”X7.5”) ensures that it will work with almost any phone. A larger Waterproof Tablet Case (DC-17) measures 9”X13” and does a lot of the same things as the smartphone case does, only for your tablet.
DryCASE DRY BUDSThey also offer earbuds, headphones, and even a headset. All of these are waterproof to 10 feet. The headphones and headset use an over the ear design to hold them in place. Listen to your favorite tunes or make calls on the water without worry with these offerings from DryCASE
DryCASE Masonboro Waterproof Adventure BackpackThe Masonboro Waterproof Adventure Backpack (BP-35) is 100 percent waterproof and incorporates a useful purge valve. With the purge valve, you can inflate the pack so that it floats, squeeze out all of the air for compression, or use the valve to turn the pack into a portable shower or even a cooler. The Basin Waterproof Sport Backpack (BP-20) is geared toward paddle sports, and the Brunswick Waterproof Camo Backpack (MO-35-SGB) is a 30 liter pack offered in camo.
DryCASE DRYVIBESDryCASE even offers the DryVIBES Waterproof Floating Bluetooth Speaker (DV-03). The speaker has a suction cup attached for mounting the speaker to a variety of surfaces, and incorporates a microphone for using it as a speakerphone. It really is a cool little device.
