Fatheadz Unveils New 2011 Line at Outdoor Retailer Expo

Seeing as I’ve been told I have a fat head more than once, I’ll be checking this out next week at OR:

SALT LAKE CITY -January 10, 2011’” [Outdoor Retailer Booth #BR748] – Fatheadz Eyewear, the makers of oversized sunglasses and optical eyewear, is debuting its 2011 line for the first time during the Outdoor Retailer Expo on January 20-23, 2011. The company just released 12 new styles of sunglasses and 12 new styles of optical glasses.

Designed and developed by Rico Elmore, a self-proclaimed “fat head,” Fatheadz is the leading eyewear company offering shades and prescription glasses for those who are unable to wear average sized eyewear. Fatheadz fits men with a 7 5/8 hat size or larger and head circumference above the ears of 23.5 inches or more. Standard and intermediate sizes are also available.

“The Outdoor Retailer expo is North America‘s largest winter lifestyle and sports industry gathering, and we couldn‘t think of a better venue for releasing our latest line,” said Elmore, CEO of Fatheadz. “Our goal is to make it easy for adventurists to find eyewear that fits properly and comfortably.”

Fatheadz offers impact resistant and polarized lenses that are perfect for individuals who spend their time outdoors. Sunglasses are sold with a microfiber cleaning cloth or storage bag, and wired styles come with a hard-shell zipper case.

“The average outdoorsman is overloaded with gadgets and items that claim to make adventures more worthwhile,” said Elmore. “But, what good is all of that if they‘re having trouble seeing, or their head hurts due to ill-fitting glasses?”

Fatheadz will be on display at booth #BR748 at the Outdoor Retailer Expo. Eyewear is available for purchase online at www.fatheadz.com and Walmart Vision Centers. They are priced from $29.95 to $79.95.
