I tested the holster at the outdoor range, which is the only time I have used it so far, though I might consider it for hiking, camping, or winter carry when wearing a long coat. Switching to OWB mode requires a screwdriver and a few minutes to remove the IWB belt hook (two screws), claw (two more), and replace it with the OWB belt shell (three screws). The process is pretty straightforward. If you’ve got fat fingers, it may be a bit of a struggle. But it’s a fair trade-off for not having to purchase another holster.
