Lassen Day Pack From Overland

Lassen Day Pack

I recently had the opportunity to review the Lassen from Overland, and found it to be perfect for the gym, yoga or as an everyday pack. I took mine to California for a four day weekend, and it was just the right size to carry all my personal items – wallet, keys, phone, snacks, sunglasses, medication and water bottle.

The thing I like most about Overland products (besides cute designs) is the organization.  Don‘t you just hate when you have to dig through your bag to find something? It‘s like a never-ending task. Overland bags offer so many pockets and compartments to stay organized. The Lassen has two small front pockets that zip up, and there is a detachable key clip on one side. There’s also a quick-access front pocket with a built in water bottle holder and a large main compartment with two padded electronic sleeves that fit up to a 15 inch laptop and a iPad or tablet. It comes in 3 pretty colors along with the cute patterns on the inside.

Lassen Day Pack

I really enjoyed using this day pack.  Because I have a neck injury, I have a hard time wearing heavy backpacks, so the Lassen was perfect for me. It was not uncomfortable, and sized small enough that it’s light when empty, yet doesn’t hold so much that it can get weighed down. The padded straps are thin, but distribute the weight evenly enough. I also like the water bottle pocket. Stick your bottle in there and go hands-free.

Lately, I find myself using the Lassen for an everyday day bag instead of a purse. Again, it has a lot of organization (which is a main thing I look for in a purse). As I was getting ready for another vacation, I decided that I would definitely be taking the Lassen with me to hold all of my personal items, snack and tablet. It will fit perfectly under the airplane seat with no problems.  As you can see, I really love the Lassen, but then again I love all Overland‘s products.  overlandequipment.com
