Some new goodies coming soon from Exotac:
polySTRIKER and polySTRIKER XL
Reflecting their efforts to keep production here in the US, Exotac has these molded locally (in Georgia) by another company that shares their attention to detail and quality. Once the injection molding is complete, the plastics are delivered to Exotac for final assembly. Then they are prepared for retail in packaging provided by another American-owned manufacturer.
tinderTINs
There aren’t very many tin manufacturers in the US, but Exotac was able to track one down and have them produce their tinderTINs. The Fatwood inside the tins comes from a family-owned Georgia business that uses wood for manufacturing. They’re pretty much taking their waste product and recycling it (with minimal processing, naturally) for the benefit of campers.
candleTINS
While the candleTINS are not completely US-sourced, Exotac is working on that. The tins themselves come from the same supplier as the ones for the tinerTINs. Although the wax, which is 100% beeswax, comes from a US supplier, that company obtains it from international sources. Our source at Exotac has advised us that they are searching for a local supplier.
