I’m hoping I can sneak away this weekend to attend. Ironically, Mrs. Outsider was up there just yesterday, and reported back that it’s a worthy destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

Ogden, UT’”May 25, 2012’”Salomon USA‘s first flagship store opened earlier this spring and has been a significant attraction at Salt Lake City‘s City Creek Shopping Center. On June 2, Salomon and its parent company, Amer Sports Winter and Outdoor Americas, (ASWO) are inviting the community to celebrate the milestone with a special Grand Opening Celebration.

The Grand Opening Celebration is open to the public. Guests will be able to talk with Salomon product experts, enjoy refreshments and music and win great prizes including outdoor gear and an opportunity to go on a trail run with a member of Salomon‘s pro running team.

But right now it‘s just time to thank our customers, industry friends, retail neighbors and the community as a whole with a fun party at the store.”
The Salomon Store at City Creek Shopping Center carries Salomon apparel, footwear and other softgoods items found on the Salomon website. While Salomon hardgoods are not available for sale at the City Creek location, consumers are referred to the authorized Salomon dealers around the state of Utah. This allows consumers the benefits of world-class boot fitters and being custom fit for their alpine, Nordic and snowboard needs. The store is outfitted with Salomon‘s latest generation fixtures as part of a global Salomon fixture launch featuring digital technology and tactile displays.
