Hjorleifson to work with SWIX on its Swix Sonic Adjustable Pole Collection

HAVERHILL, MA (January 22, 2013) -Swix Sport announces a partnership with  freeskier Eric Hjorleifson. The Whistler, British Columbia based backcountry professional skier will work with Swix on its new Swix Sonic adjustable pole collection.

“The Swix Sonic is beautifully designed with performance and functionality in mind. Fully adjustable on the fly, the Sonic is truly the first adjustable pole worth using,” said Eric Hjorleifson.

Hjorleifson works with several leading winter brands and brings a level of expertise to the product development process.

“We are excited to have Eric on board the Swix Sonic team. We committed to this category long term and we believe Eric will be a big contributor to future development of the category, in addition to being a fantastic promoter of the Swix Sonic poles,” said Svein Pedersen, Category Manager at Swix Sport.

The Swix Sonic adjustable pole collection will be available for the 2013/14 season.

With a revolutionary locking system, ultra-lightweight shaft design and other unique features, the collection is designed to be the most advanced adjustable pole to ever hit the market.

Eric Hjorleifson will be making appearances at the Swix Sport booth at both Outdoor Retailer and SIA Snow Show.
