Bikedispenser.com does just what their name implies. They sell a system that allows rental bikes to be dispensed from a machine. It’s not unlike the system they’re using in France, but instead of 40lb gas pipe cruisers, these bikes look like a fixed version of the old Raleigh Twenty folder. Granted, I don’t read Dutch, but it was still plenty of fun to explore the site.
These would be sweet in the more bike-centric countries, but I don’t see them showing up in the US any time soon.
