I couldn’t tell you, sorry. There are tons of other blogs, magazines, and websites that have already covered anything new Fox might have shown at Interbike. I didn’t even get a chance to speak much with their marketing coordinator, Lesley Eldridge. And I have no problem with that. Besides selling my wife a Fox hat, (to replace the Disney one she was wearing) and some raffle tickets to help support Tara Llanes, she explained to my wife about Tara’s accident, and all the things Fox was doing to help Tara.
For those that may not be aware, (or too lazy to click the link above) while competing in the Jeep King of the Mountain finale in Beaver Creek Colorado on September 1st, Tara crashed during the first run of her semi-final heat. She was rushed to Vail Valley Hospital, then airlifted to Denver Health Hospital a short time later. She underwent seven hours of surgery to the back and spinal cord, and it was determined she had no feeling from the waist down. She’s improved a lot since then, as you can read (and comment) on her myspace page.
So there you have it. I have no idea what’s new at Fox. But I urge everyone to donate if they can, offer a prayer for a speedy recovery if they’re so inclined, or just go to her myspace and post something positive.
Let’s all wish her a speedy recovery.
