LIMAR’s photochromic lens (models OF10-PH, OF8-PH, F70-PH) automatically adjust to sun light intensity and are the ideal solution for outdoors in any light condition, adjusting to the quantity of light that reaches the eye. The LIMAR lens also utilizes sophisticated NXT technology that allows the lens to adapt quickly to changes in the sun’s UV radiation intensity.
LIMAR’s polarized lens (models OF8-PO and OF10 Premium Sets) offer superior eye protection and visual comfort — the perfecty for any intense light conditions, since they prevent reflection, especially from water, snow or reflective surfaces. Limar polarized lens technology combines an up-to-date optical quality with a superior light transmission.
Those LIMAR models using polycarbonate lenses (OF6-CH, OF6.5, F60 and S50 are supplied with three pairs of interchangeable lens, that can be easily replaced. Each type of polycarbonate lens in the LIMAR range has its own percentage of transmitted light, that makes it ideal for any specific situation. The light transmitted by the lens depends on its color and coating: Clear lens – transmission: 88-93% (Cat.0); Orange lens – transmission: 46-55% (Cat.1).
