I like reading news articles about cyclists. Unfortunately, most of it is bad. Lately, there’s been a flurry of cycling-related articles and blog posts about female cyclists in London getting killed far more often than male cyclists. While I’m not sure what makes a woman in England seven or eight times more likely to get killed by a lorry than a male cyclist, I’m more inclined to chalk it up to skewed statistics than hard math.
So, if you too are getting a bit tired of reading about that, and about David Byrne’s bicycle adventures, go ahead and read this article, about bike couriers in the French Quarter. Yeah, they even deliver beer and wine.
Hopefully, the comments are still there. I found the 2nd one very amusing.
