Kinetic inRide – World’s First Bluetooth Smart™Trainer-based Watt Meter System
Kinetic inRide watt meter system uses Bluetooth Smart™communication protocol, found in the Apple iPhone 5 and 4s, and iPad3, to pair a heart rate monitor and a power sensor pod with the new Kinetic inRide iPhone App* to measure wattage with any Kinetic fluid trainer.
Proprietary firmware in the Kinetic inRide Sensor Pod measures speed and cadence at the tire and translates that into wattage with a simple equation. That information and the heart rate data is collected and displayed on paired, compatible iOS devices. Post-workout file sharing allows the rider to upload training data to their favorite web site or email files to a remote coach.
Kinetic inRide App features include: time-in-zone for both heart rate and watts, programmable rider data for training zones and calorie burn, TSS, nPower, iFactor and Mean Maximal Power** in 5 increments. Ride history is stored for future reference and easy upload to online-training websites and workout sharing sites. Auto coast-down calibration keeps accuracy precise, no matter what combination of tire and tire pressure a rider uses.

This Kinetic Power Formula along with our proprietary software accurately estimates the cumulative effect of 16 different interactive forces. This power curve is based on the “average ” rider on the “outdoor ride” using the following cubic function: P = (5.244820) * S + (0.01968) * S3. S=speed in miles per hour, P=power in Watts
Rock and Road
The Kinetic Rock and Roll, the company’s flagship fluid trainer, takes realism and 
workouts to a whole new level with natural side-to-side motion. A wide base and four polymer bushings located underneath the fluid trainer and flywheel provide a stable lateral motion. While training indoors, cyclists can perform out-of-the-saddle hill climb intervals, engaging core muscles while simultaneously working on both technique and power.

Road Machine
The Road Machine is Kinetic’s most popular trainer with its 100% leak-proof design 
provided by a sealed fluid chamber driven by a magnetically coupled driveshaft and flywheel. Resistance automatically adjusts as riding speeds change and the flywheel helps provide realistic feedback during pedaling and coast-down.
