Chosen officers will receive special edition Liberty SO Bottles to spread the message
YAKIMA, Wash. – Dec. 3, 2012 – Outdoors enthusiasts, community leaders, big-men-on-campus and any other green-minded individuals around the country will have a chance to evangelize environmental consciousness in their community through a new ambassador program that will outfit specially chosen “Sustainability Officers” with a supply of reusable, recycled aluminum bottles from Liberty Bottleworks to promote sustainable living.
The Liberty Sustainability Officers will “apply” for the position by submitting a photo illustrating leadership in standing up for American jobs, green products and eco-friendly choices to Instagram or Liberty’s Facebook page with the hastag #SOliberty.
Some examples of images that would constitute strong entries could include service projects to clean up or improve parks and trails, commuting to work or school by bike (bonus for sticking it out through bad weather!) or teaching young people through work, school, church and community groups to live sustainably.
“We meet people every day who share our values and commitment to sustainability, and we wanted a way give those people an outlet to share their vision in their communities,” said Liberty Bottleworks co-founder and COO Ryan Clark. “Liberty Sustainability Officers are people who already lead by example, and giving them a tool to continue to do that is what our program is all about.”
Liberty will choose ambassadors based on their content and composition of entries and ship them a box of 36 recycled aluminum, Made-in-America bottles to be distributed in their community at their discretion to spread the message of sustainability.
