New Magazine Base Pads for the Ruger® MK IV™from Volquartsen

Just got this update on a new product from Volquartsen. If you’re not already on their mailing list, I suggest signing up. That gets you free shipping on your orders, and they don’t spam you. The emails I do get from them are informative and educational. And it’s nice to know when they release new stuff.

We designed our new Magazine Base Pads for the Ruger® MK IV™ for use with our Volthane Target Grip or our Laminated Target Grip configurations. These Magazine Base Pads will also work with most other MK IV™grip configurations including the factory grips. They are not compatible with the Ruger® MK IV™22/45™.Learn more about these Magazine Base Pads by watching this video featuring Team Volquartsen shooter Kolby Pavlock.Preview of: Features of the Volquartsen Magazine Base Pads for the Ruger® MK IV™Our target grip configurations feature a thumbrest, fingergrooves, and a heelrest giving you more control. We found, however, this increased comfort came at the price of a less accessible magazine well. The design of the heelrest extends below the bottom of the frame which can make it a little more difficult to fully seat or remove the magazine. Our new Magazine Base Pads for the Ruger® MK IV™ provide more positive magazine insertion, easier removal, and lightning fast reloads. CNC-machined from billet aluminum, these base pads are designed to fit both the Mamba-TF and Ruger® MK IV™magazines. These base pads can also be used to convert existing Ruger® MKIII™magazines to the MK IV™design.
