Fat Chance Introduces the Yo Eddy 2.2, With 27.5+ and 29er Versatility!
ASHLAND, OR Fat Chance Bicycles – www.fatchance.bike – is stoked to introduce the new Yo Eddy 2.2, the latest version of the Yo Eddy, their original trail hardtail which launched in 2015. The new model uses their newly-designed CNC machined “demi-yoke” paired with Boost 148 rear axle spacing. This sleek design allows the rider to pick between a 27.5+ or 29er setup, with massive clearance for up to a 3.0” or 2.5” tire, respectively.
The Yo Eddy 2.2 also features a brand-spanking new version of their thru-axle dropout and brake mount, moving the disc brake mount to the chainstay to keep the cable routing tidy. The Yo Eddy continues to stay true to the agile handling riders love and expect, but now with even more options!
To say the Yo Eddy Frame uses proprietary parts is an understatement’”Founder Chris Chance plays a direct role in the design and fabrication of every part of the frame. Each frame is made-to-order based on Chris’ proven design & geometry, while allowing a range of custom options including: paint, decals, cable routing & frame options. From design to welding to painting, the Yo Eddy 2.2 is handmade completely in the USA and offers riders the choices to suit their ride’”however they roll.
