VeloLoco is a bicycle touring company based in France, and they’re trying a pretty interesting marketing concept.
VeloLoco’s Tour de France Special 2007 is being marketed as an auction. They’re doing a trial to see if they can run all their bespoke and shared custom tours by selling places online. So they’re inviting bids with a preset min/max price to fill remaining places. They decided to pick a major event on their calendar to give the idea a proper run – completely loco!
